[Additional comment 16th September 2008: Assignment completed and finished slightly ahead of plan after a 2nd round of client interviews on the 11th September - SAM is has real pace to get the job done!]

I’ve just got a new assignment with a UK based company called Whyte Chemicals. They’re looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager based in Germany to look after Germany, Austria and Switzerland. If you know of anybody looking for a German based role in this sector, let them know. I can see Whyte have a dream to expand in Europe to match their UK market penetration

 

This is going to be interesting as I’m working with my colleague Jens Peters who’s the SAM Managing Partner in the Munich region (and a granddad almost 4 times over!). Jens will do the hard graft on this one. I’ll be helping (interfering?) from a distance!

 

I really enjoy the international aspect of projects like this. Getting a match that works for the company and country cultures is a challenge I can’t resist.
